We’ve worked with publishers Ivy Press on a large number of projects but one of our favourites has to be production of a book titled Ladies of LetterPress. We specialise in arts and craft photography so we’re great champions of the creative and handmade and so are Kseniya Thomas and Jessica C. White, who founded the organisation Ladies of Letterpress to showcase the work of women printers reviving the art of the same name. Members range from fine-press to job printers and are located across the world, from the United States, to Europe, Australia, Kuwait and Japan. A gallery of their art, carefully selected for the book ranges from greeting cards to broadsides and posters. We were entrusted with the job of photographing all the works for faithful reproduction in the book. Featuring 80 detachable pages for wall-mounting, it was imperative our shots were up to scratch, exposures perfect and colours true. The result is a beautiful large-format book full of gorgeous pieces.
